Introduction to Donation Box

Donation Box

Donation Box is Riseact's stand for in-person fundraising: an Android tablet with the Riseact Kiosk app and a WisePOS E payment terminal. It is sold or rented to organizations and lets supporters donate by card on their own.

Riseact Kiosk

The Donation Box Android app: it shows the donation form, talks to the terminal and syncs with Riseact. It is on Google Play and can be installed on any compatible Android device, even outside a Donation Box.

Locations

Riseact uses Stripe Terminal for physical payments. In Stripe Terminal a location is the physical place of the fundraising, for example the address of an event or a venue. Each location can have one or more terminals and default settings, such as tax settings.

Terminals

The POS terminal is the device that accepts card payments. Riseact supports:

  • WisePad 3
  • WisePOS E
