How to set up a Donation Box: Android tablet with Riseact Kiosk and WisePOS E terminal.

The tablet and the WisePOS E must be on the same WiFi network.

First power-on of the WisePOS E​

Follow the instructions on the display: choose language and country, then wait for the update and reboot.

After the reboot, drag the left edge of the screen to the right to open the side menu. Go to "Settings", enter the default PIN "07139" and click "Generate pairing code". You get a code of 3 words separated by hyphens, needed to register the terminal.

Installing Riseact Kiosk​

Install Riseact Kiosk from Google Play on the tablet, connect it to the same WiFi network as the WisePOS E and launch the app.

Setup in Riseact Admin​

Log in to https://admin.riseact.org.

Location​

In Donation Points > Locations create, if it does not exist yet, the location where the Donation Box is.

Registering the terminal​

In Donation Points > Terminals click "Register terminal", enter the 3-word code from the WisePOS E, name the terminal and save.

Registering the Kiosk​

In Donation Points > Kiosk click "Register Kiosk". Enter a name and, in the "Registration Code" field, the 16-character code the app shows below the QR code. Select the registered terminal and save.

After a few moments the donation form appears on the tablet. To customize it see Customization.
